    Thank you for visiting my website. I have 16 years of experience as a photojournalist, most recently freelancing high school sports and New Mexico State University. My last staff photographer position ended in March 2008 due to budget cuts but photography continues to remain my passion. I learned video this past year,
    taking classes at the University of New Mexico in video and video editing to keep up with changes in the industry towards multimedia.

    SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHY : I have taken tens of thousands of sports photographs over the years and this is just a small sampling of work. Sports has been the bread and butter of my newspaper work. Spent 4 years covering the Dallas Cowboys plus several other professional sporting events in the DFW area, 5 years of covering University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University athletics. Highlight events include the Sun Bowl, two Cotton Bowls and the Houston Bowl. In 2004 I photographed the NCAA men's basketball Final Four in San Antonio while working as chief photographer for the Stillwater (Oklahoma) NewsPress.
